Lesley Andrew is an internationally renowned academic and researcher in the field of nursing Lesley. Dr. Andrew is a senior lecturer with Edith Cowan University in Western Australia. and  Deputy Director – The Centre for Evidence Informed Nursing, Midwifery and Healthcare Practice: A JBI Affiliated CentreMCATSINaM.

 She has led and taught across undergraduate and postgraduate courses in nursing, public health
and research. Prior to her work in academia, Lesley was a senior public health nurse
working with underprivileged communities in the North of England. Lesley’s research and
teaching is focused on equity, autonomy and advocacy. This work has been recognised
through a national teaching award, a vice chancellor teaching award and an Athena Swan
Leadership Award.
